Henry Brockholst Livingston was a U.S. Supreme Court colleague of Bushrod Washington. 

Description

Henry Brockholst Livingston, associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court from 1806 to 1823, was born in New York City on 25 November 1757. Raised in New Jersey (where his father was governor), he attended what is now Princeton University with James Madison. Following service as a Continental Army officer and secretary to diplomat John Jay, Livingston studied law and gained admission to the New York bar.
