Noblet Herbert (1784–1825)

In 1816 Bushrod Washington authorized Herbert to conduct a sale of part of the Mount Vernon Tract. 

Description

Noblet Herbert was born in 1784. A brother of Benjamin Fuller Herbert and Maurice Herbert, he was a lawyer in what is now Alexandria, Virginia. He also managed the estate of his father Thomas Herbert. In 1813 Noblet married Mary Lee Washington (a niece of Bushrod Washington) at Mount Vernon.
