Description

Edmund Jennings Lee, brother of Richard Bland LeeHenry Lee III, and Charles Lee and uncle of Robert E. Lee, was born on 20 May 1772 at the family plantation in Prince William County, Virginia. He attended what is now Princeton University before embarking on a successful career in law.
