My Friend

I have delayed makeing a reply to your friendly letter of the 14. supposing that your time was still Occupyed by your Juditial avocations.

     I shall avail my self of the permission you give me, if when I hear from you, that you are at leisure, of passing a few days with you, and Mrs Washington, and of haveing the additional pleasure of seeing the Assurance of Friendship that existed betwen your Elustrious Uncle and my Hamilton, the season for Travelling will now be fine and I can make my Excursion with great Convinien<ce.> I take the liberty of bringing one of my sons with me. I hope I do not trespass on your goodness, your expressions of regard and readiness to oblige me Excites in me the feelings of particular frindship. with great respect to your self and Compliments to Mrs Washington
