Littleton Waller Tazewell (1774–1860)
In 1828 Bushrod Washington requested Senator Tazewell's support in fulfilling a penurious widow's claim against the United States.
Littleton Waller Tazewell, the son of Henry Tazewell and Dorothy Elizabeth Waller, was born on 17 December 1774 in Williamsburg, Virginia. He studied law with George Wythe before entering The College of William and Mary, from which he graduated in 1791.
