From George Washington Parke Custis

Sir

Three days since, I paid Doctor F. Peyton the amount of yr order, with interest from the 25th of March, & have his recpt for the same. As this in great measure settles my debit to the Estate I would thank you for the two old bonds, I gave at the 1st sale. Whatever interest may remain; can be carried to my debit, till the general settlement— I will also trouble yr goodness, to send me any papers you may have respecting my Estate, called the Forest of Washington, bequeathed me by the General— These Papers can be sent with the bonds to Wood Lawn from whence I can get them. I have the honour to be Your Very Obt H. Sert

George W. P. Custis
