From George Corbin Washington
Washington April 14th 1828
My dear Uncle,
Your favor and enclosures came safely to hand— I have seen Genl Stewart who has accepted the Dft on Aim payable in thirty days— They are both deposited with Mr English for collection.
We are still engaged with the tariff, and I fear it will occupy the whole week, unless arrested by the previous question— Its fate is yet doubtful, for its provisions as adopted so far, are by no means acceptable to the friends of the measure.
Ann is well and desires to be remembered by Aunt & yourself sincerely yr affe. Nephew
