My dear Son
I arrived home on monday night safe through a very heavy rain; when I got home not a white sole was in the house to receive me, they were at Spring grove. I stay allnight by myself & all the next day for they did not get home until nex night. I met with Mr Keyes in town & we travelled home together, which was very pleasant; I brought from Baltimore a little Girl, in the gig as far as Charlestown, she read to me in the rover; she is the orphan daughter of a docter Walls of Baltimore, who died four years ago, in that City; she is going to Winchester to spend the summer with her Grand Parents who reside in that place. We are all well & very busy. God bless you my Dear Son.
