Description

Zebulon Hollingsworth Jr., older brother of Levi Hollingsworth, was born on 17 May 1735 in present-day Elkton, Maryland. An operator of a mill and store in Elkton, Hollingsworth also served in a Delaware militia unit during the Revolutionary War. He and Mary Evans (1737–1814, m. 1764) had seven children. Hollingsworth died in Elkton on 24 March 1812.
