Hannah Lee Washington was a sister-in-law of Bushrod Washington.

Description

Hannah Lee was born in Westmoreland County, the fourth child of Richard Henry Lee and his first wife Anne Aylett (d. 1768). In 1787 Hannah married Corbin Washington, with whom she would have seven children. (Hannah's older sister Mary wed William Augustine Washington, a cousin of Corbin Washington.) The couple lived at Walnut Farm in Westmoreland County (near Bushfield) before relocating to Fairfax County. Hannah Lee Washington died on 23 November 1801 in Alexandria, Virginia.
