Thomas Davison (1784–1854)
Ann Alexander Lewis, Thomas Davison's first wife, was the daughter of Fielding Lewis Jr., Bushrod Washington's cousin.
Thomas Davison was born in Ireland on 11 April 1784. He immigrated to the United States and settled in Barren County, Kentucky, where he worked as a farmer. In 1808 Davison married Ann "Nancy" Alexander Lewis (1787–1834), the daughter of Fielding Lewis Jr. They had several children. Following Lewis’s death, Davison remarried twice: to Elizabeth Nuckols in 1835 and to Catherine/Catharine Stockton Bishop in 1849.
