Sarah Waldo Wetmore Story (1784–1855)

Description

Sarah Waldo Wetmore, the daughter of a judge, was born on 24 May 1784 in Salem, Massachusetts. Her family soon after moved to Boston, where she married Joseph Story in 1808. Of the couple's seven children, only two reached adulthood. Sarah died at home in Boston on 22 August 1855, nearly ten years after the passing of her husband.
