William Sterrett (1776–1850)
Sterrett collected rents on Washington family lands in Kanawha County, present-day West Virginia.
William Sterrett was born on 5 February 1776 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He was a lawyer, real estate agent and county clerk in present-day Mason County, West Virginia. Sterrett and his wife Agnes "Nancy" Bell (1772–1863, m. 1800) had six children. He died in 1850.
