Robert Douthat (1796–1828)

Robert Douthat was born on 22 February 1796 in Augusta County, Virginia. In 1819 he married Eleanor Warner Lewis (1799–1862), the daughter of Fielding Lewis (1763–1834), who would serve as president of the Dismal Swamp Company.
