Robert R. Livingston (1746–1813)
Description
Robert R. Livingston, brother of Edward Livingston and and brother-in-law of Anne Home Shippen Livingston, was born on 27 November 1746 in New York City. A graduate of King's College (now Columbia University), he was admitted to the bar and practiced law with John Jay. In 1770 he married Mary Stevens (1751–1814).
