Walter Jones (1745–1815)
In 1806 Bushrod Washington wrote Congressman Walter Jones regarding the establishment of a university in what is now Washington, D.C.
Walter Jones, the father of Walter Flood Jones, was born on 18 December 1745 in Williamsburg, Virginia.
