To John Francis Mercer

Dear Sir
I have made such amendments to your Bill as appear to me proper— they are as follows.
1. I refer to yr fathers Will as part of the Bill— you will therefore furnish me with a Copy of it.
2d Your mothers will, whereby she devises to you all her Estate except some Legacies which have been discharged— I shall also want a Copy of that Will.
3d That Geo. Mercer died in 84 unmarried, intestate & without Issue. that in 86 James Mercer obtained an Act of Assembly vesting all his Estate real & personal in him whereby he became entitled to all the means of discharging his brothers debts & chargeable with the payment of them.
This information I have obtained from some other papers of yr brothers which have come to my possession. It is necessary that the Representatives of Mr Geo. Mercer should be made parties, and those can only be the persons who represent Mr James Mercer.
4h that Mr Selden is dead & Mrs Selden his Executrix & that Mr Dick is dead & Jno. Brook & Mr Garnet admtrs of his goods not administered by [<2m#>] the former Executor.
inform me who was the former Exectr that I may fill up the blank.
